VSCC Goodwood Sprint

Nov 01, 2011 No Comments by

The final VSCC sprint of the year was held at the Goodwood motor circuit, with over fifty cars competing and a mouth watering array of mainly pre war machinery turning up for the event.

The cars were split into eighteen different categories from the 750cc Ulsters to a 10000cc aero engined monster.

Favourites included Winston Teague’s 1922/30 1100cc Wasp special, Ben Colling’s 1926 Bentley 4.5 litre Park Ward Saloon and John Wardens 1937 Delage D6 Course.

The Vintage Sports Car Club was founded in 1934 and holds many events throughout the year. For details of the club and next years events go to: http://www.vscc.co.uk/vsccweb/
