Ordering

An online shopping experience should quick and easy! Here are the steps to buying from the Classic Track Racing shop. Further details are below, here is a summary:

i. Select the item you would like to buy

ii. If delivery is within the UK, you can use the shopping cart and checkout via Paypal using your credit card or Paypal account if you have one.

iii. You can order by post – just complete our order form and send your cheque with your order.

iv. For international orders, please complete our international order form and we will send you a quotation for delivery along with a Paypal invoice, payable by credit card or with an existing Paypal account.

NB All orders (UK & international) are dispatched via the Royal Mail using recorded / signed for delivery. Click here to view UK delivery shipping costs only.

 

Find and choose The Items

The shop page is where you can browse our products for sale. Just click on a category such as books or autographs. When you click on the product you want within the category a description of the chosen product will be displayed.

Add to the Shopping Basket

Before you can purchase an item you need to add the item(s) to the shopping basket (UK customers only). Just click on the “Add to cart” button for the item (s) you want. You will then be taken to the shopping cart where you will see all the items you have selected. You then have the option to continue with your shopping or to proceed to the Checkout to purchase the item(s) in your shopping cart.

It is easy to check what is in your basket at any time by clicking on the “Shopping Cart” button at the top of the screen. If you want to remove something, just click on the red cross next to the item in your shopping cart that you want to remove. This will remove the items you want to delete or remove.

Proceed to Checkout

When you have all the items you need in your shopping cart, we recommended you read the terms and conditions, shipping information and privacy policy.

Then go to your cart and click the “checkout” button, which will take you to Paypal where you can pay for the selected items, which you have placed in your shopping cart.

You do not need to register on this site to order goods, all payments are handled through Paypal and you do not need a Paypal account to use Paypal, you can use all major credit cards.

For your convenience, you can enter an alternative delivery address – after all you may wish to purchase an item as a gift

Ordering by Post

If you wish to order by post and send a cheque (UK only), please complete the online order form, print it and send with your payment to Classic Track Racing, 72 Main Road, Emsworth, Hampshire PO10 8AX. Once your cheque and order is received and funds are cleared, goods will be despatched. We will email you upon receipt of your cheque and when goods are despatched.

Paying for Your Goods – Online Checkout (UK only)

Always check the details in the basket and make sure you are happy with your order before making your purchase. When you click on the “Proceed to Checkout” link, you will be taken to the checkout stages. There you can enter your billing and shipping addresses, payment details and complete your order securely online via Paypal, which accepts major credit cards. You can cancel your order at anytime and you are entitled to a full refund.

VAT

The prices quoted on our website do not include VAT.

 

NB Classic Track Racing reserves the right to make changes to product information and prices without prior notice on its website. Illustrations or photographs of items featured in our website are for guidance only. We reserve the right to supply an item which may not be identical to the illustration or the photograph but can be identified as the same product.

 

Delivery, Postage and packaging

We will send an e-mail or text message (if you provide a mobile phone number when ordering from us) when your order is despatched, so that you know when to expect the item. All items are despatched recorded delivery (UK & international orders) and must be signed for.

We also deliver to your place of work if you have inserted an alternative for delivery address. If the work address delivery fails because we cannot find you, we cannot deliver again without incurring another delivery charge.

The delivery charge for all products is worked out from the weight and size of the product. You can view our UK shipping costs here.

We deliver across the UK and abroad, although our checkout process is only for UK orders, however we also accept orders by post. For international orders, will we email you with a quotation for registered airmail delivery and a Paypal invoice which you can pay either by credit or debit card if you don’t have a Paypal account or using an existing Paypal account. Returns Policy

We are pleased to be able to offer a returns policy for items purchased directly from Classic Track Racing.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item, unopened and unused, and we will then issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item or an exchange, this does not include return postage.

We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty.

Please follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund efficiently and quickly:

  • Provide reason for the return and your original order number and any other details you may wish to include
  • If the reason for the return is due to a faulty product, please provide a full description of the fault as best you can
  • Package the item securely in its original packaging

We will notify you via e-mail when we have processed your return. This may take up to 2 weeks.

For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service, please keep the receipt for your own files as we may ask for a copy or obtain proof of posting (free from your Post Office) when returning goods as we cannot provide a refund or exchange if we do not receive the original goods back. We do not offer a free returns service.

We cannot accept returns of bespoke products that have been made to order.

This guarantee does not affect and is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.
